Statement of Faith...

We believe in the validity and application of the laws of the Bible as they are taught in the Written Hebrew Torah, Prophets and Writings. These ancient documents of Israel represent "true" Judaism according to Hebrew Scripture; laws and teachings that are developed in commentary through the original autographs of the "New Testament." The laws and narratives of all five books of the Torah plus the Prophets and the Writings teach us to obey Israel's contract with YHWH - Yehovah; an eternal contract that was given to all Israel at Mount Sinai when the nation responded with one voice to YHWH saying in Exodus 24:7, "we will do and we will hear," which is what the scripturalist preacher and Messianic Jewish reformer Yeshua ben Yosef echoed in Luke 8:21; words that were later ratified a second time on the plains of Moab east of the River Jordan before the nation entered the Land of Promise (Deuteronomy 29:13–16). Any one person who desires an inheritance with the people of biblical Israel according to the promise of Jeremiah 31:31–34 (walking faithfully to respond to the inner voice of the Ruach haKodesh) is obligated to the same covenant that involves walking in the Word and listening to the Ruach or Spirit. These two elements of faith are at the core of the New Covenant. Christianity denies the Word and Judaism denies the Ruach (Spirit). As a result, power hungry men and women come along and exploit good, giving people who are looking for biblical truth and by sleight of hand, convince the masses to walk under their control submit to their authority thus, violating the principles of the New Covenant teachings of Moses and the Prophets.

Avi does not accept the teachings of the Ante-Nicene "Church Fathers" nor their "Orthodox Church" ideas for the simple reason that it is not sound doctrine, which must be clearly defined according to what Hebrew scripture teaches at its most basic level. Avi strongly believes that if something is to be called truth in the New Testament, then it absolutely must ring true with the Bible that was available to Yeshua and His disciples; that is, the Torah, the Prophets and the Writings - "TANAKH." Church doctrine and dogma as it is taught today is nothing short of a product of the late second to the mid sixth centuries of Catholic Christianity, following the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem and was actually growing contemporaneously with that of the teachings of the Jewish leaders of the day and their Pharisaic oral law authority (c. 160-500 C.E.). Church dogma and doctrine and rabbinic central authority and halacha are essecially the same thing: concoctions of men who ultimately reject the Spirit of the Law and the Letter of the Law (Exodus 3:14 and I Samuel 8:7) and Yehovah's Written Instructions for life (Leviticus 18:1-4). Avi cannot in good conscience take part in any religion that has been concocted by men. Avi will gladly come to present a lecture to those who consider themselves "truth-seekers" of the Torah of YHWH. Avi is not one to argue doctrine. You can believe what you want to believe; however, if you are not a "truthseeker" then you are a slave (knowingly or unknowingly). Setting Israel free from slavery is at the core of the true Israelite covenant with YHWH. It is NOT YHWH's will that we return to it.

Q: Do you believe that the NT letters and narratives were transmitted under the inspiration and guidance of the the Ruach HaKodesh?

A: As tranmitted through the original autographs, Yes.

Q:Do we have original autographs today?

A: No, we do not. What we have today is a series of highly edited early church additions, subtractions, and changes. There is truth in the "New Testament" documents that we do have. However, the truth can only be determined by comparing its words and teachings to what we have written in our Hebrew Bible, in Hebrew, and then judging these documents by what is written down for us in the Leningrad Codex and in the biblical texts of the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Q: What do you believe about Yeshua and his teachings?

A: According to Scripture, Yeshua was known to be the Sent One like Moses (Deuteronomy 18:15-19/Acts 3:19-23/John 7:16). He was also known to be the Son of Yah (John 10:36/Isaiah 43:10-11) in Judaism's esoteric texts such as the Zohar, who came in the Name of YHWH (Matthew 23:39), all according to the ancient and well established Messianic prophecies, such as Psalm 2:7 and Isaiah 53 (according to the Targumim). Scripturally, these references have their basis in the whole of Hebrew Scripture starting with Isaiah 11:2 as this specifies that YHWH was to choose one from the stem or root of Yishai (Jesse) to be greatly endowed with the eternal and divine attributes of the Name YHWH and one that would have a delight in YHWH; would have the fear of YHWH; would not judge by what he sees but by what is in the Written Law of YHWH, through the Ruach or Spirit of the Law. This prophecy of Isaiah 11:1-2 was anciently understood to be speaking of the promised Messiah of Israel. The purpose of the Messiah figure was to fulfill the words of Moses in Deuteronomy 18:15-19, which is further reflected in the understanding that Yeshua's disciples had concerning the Messiah in Acts 3:22-23 and in fact, was a teaching of Yeshua himself in John 7:16, John 7:40, Matt 21:11, Luke 10:16, which, by the way connects with John 1:1, which perfectly lines up with the Scriptural teaching of Isaiah 48:16 and Isaiah 55:10-11 as it is reflected in John 1:14. In Luke 3:21-22, at the immersion of Yeshua in the Jordan. Here, the text informs us that the Ruach or Spirit of YHWH came upon Yeshua to fulfill Psalm 2:7, which shows us Yeshua's unique status based on the Hebrew word Lavshah (Lamed Bet Shin), which is used only three times in Hebrew Scripture to indicate that the Ruach or Spirit was capable of putting on or wearing a Messianic figure as it is seen in Judges 6:34, 1 Chronicles 12:18 and 2 Chronicles 24:20. Based on this understanding, Luke 4:17-18 makes perfect sense as it is linked to Isaiah 61:1 and Isaiah 11:1-2. Furthermore, this shows us clearly that the Ruach or Spirit of the Messiah is one and the same with the Name YHWH as it is shown to us in Numbers 11:25, Judges 3:10, Judges 11:29, Judges 13:24-25, Ezekiel 43:5 and a large number of other scriptural addresses far too numerous to list here. Clearly the Name YHWH was with Yeshua as the Name was taught to all Israel; something that even Sha'ul (Paul) understood in Colossians 2:9 when he said, "In him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily...."

Yeshua was sent to redeem and restore both houses of Israel (Yehudah and Israel) to the New Covenant, which is a covenant of obeying the Letter of the Torah by walking in the Spirit of the Torah, as it was first established at Exodus 20:19 but then immediately rejected (Deuteronomy 5:22-27) out of fear. Nonetheless, the grace and mercy of YHWH was extended to the nation at Exodus 24:7-9 and Deuteronomy 29:14-16, which then fulfills numerous additional prophecies of the Tanakh that include Deuteronomy 30, Amos 9 and all of the chapters of the Book of Hosea. At a pre-determined point in the future (Acts 1:6-8, Matthew 24, Ezekiel 37), Mashiach Son of David will come to physically rule over the whole house of Israel from Tzion and fulfill the words of YHWH that were spoken faithfully to Abraham and his descendants (Genesis 12-18) which is further confirmed through the teachings of the Hebrew prophets. Until the physical coming of the Davidic Messiah (Messiah ben David), we must all do the best that we can in our day-to-day lives to live according to the knowledge that we gain from our studies of the written Torah, as we also learn to hear the inner voice of the Ruach or Spirit, as we are being guided daily by this Spirit of Truth (John 14:16 and John 16:13).

The Two Houses of Israel-"Ephraim" and "Judah," as taught in Ezekiel 37, is a valid teaching. "Gentiles" that wish to join themselves to the corporate body of Israel are to be welcomed in but they must agree to observe the commandments of the Holy Written Torah and walk in the Ruach of YHWH in order to connect to the blessings and to the promised inheritance that belongs to all Israel through YHWH's promised Covenant to all Israel. Gentiles who say that they are Israel but do not believe that they have to keep and do the commandments that were given to the collective and corporate body of Israel are essentially stealing from YHWH and all Israel; forcefully taking the blessings and leaving behind the responsibilities of those blessings. Sound biblical doctrine teaches that blessings come as a result of living by faith in the Ruach which is always understood to be living by faithfulness to the Word.

Concerning the land of Israel, it is the promised inheritance for all twelve families of Jacob forever, IF THEY KEEP THE COVENANT of YHWH. This includes any foreigner who joins himself or herself to the people of Israel (see Isaiah 56). Together, at some future date, we will all live in a very different and new, and expanded Eretz Israel during the reign of YHWH through His Messiah - ben David. Again, this is the inheritance of the people of Israel ON CONDITION that they walk in the promised Covenant as it was given to all Israel at Mount Sinai. There will be no inheritance (physical or spiritual) for those who will not hear and do the Covenant, or for those who seek to replace or supersede those teachings with the commandments of men. This was confirmed by Yeshua in Matthew 7:21-23 and Matthew 5:17-20.

Q: Do you believe in the Trinity?

A: No and Yes. The "Trinity" as it is taught in Catholicism and Christianity is totally pagan and I cannot possibly accept such a concept. However, there is a "Trinity" as in the image of a Divine Family of Father, Mother, Word. This is solidly proven from written scripture and is impossible to deny from written scripture. YHWH - Yehovah – is Echad (One) and is manifested to us as ONE with the clear divine attributes of a Father (Commandment), a Mother (Ruach or Spirit), and their firstborn Son or Word (the perfect balance of the Letter and the Spirit of the Law).

Q:Do you believe in the "Virgin Birth"?

A: No and Yes. No, according to established Catholic and Christian dogma. Yes, according to written Scripture where biblical Israel is called a pure virgin (Jeremiah 31:21-22) and she gives birth to her firstborn son (Isaiah 9:6-7), who will rule all Israel (Revelation 12:1-2). This concept that Israel is YHWH's pure Virgin was supposed to be a beautiful midrash in the gospel narratives but it was edited and turned into a pagan story by the Ba'al priests of Babylon's mystery religions. Israel as a Virgin is absolutely nothing new to ancient Judaism. In fact, there are many, many scriptural references to this idea, in fact, too numerous to list here in this short space. The concept that the Virgin Israel brings forth her son – the Mashiach is so solidly based on written scripture that it is impossible to deny it if one wants to believe in the veracity of the written Word. Scripture DOES TEACH a Virgin Birth of YHWH's Chosen One, but much later, this teaching was corrupted by the Catholic and Christian church fathers, who were heavily influenced by Rome's Babylonian mystery religion teachings and did not study Judaism's ancient esoteric texts; nor did they study Tanakh in Hebrew and certainly had no knowledge of walking in the New Covenant of Jeremiah 31:31-34.

Q: Do you believe in Yeshua's physical resurrection and a "Last Days" physical resurrection of the righteous dead?

A: Yes to both questions based on passages such as Matthew 28 and Daniel 12:1-2.

Q: What do you believe about Paul?

A: He was a good man who was (and continues to be) seriously misunderstood by both Gentiles and Jews alike. It is a serious mistake to think that he was against the written Mosaic Law. Rather, Paul was a brilliant man with a brilliant mind who completely removed himself from his once-held belief that there is validity to the Pharisaic oral law of his day. Further, Paul taught against submitting to Pharisaic authority which demanded that all Gentiles coming into covenant with YHWH must submit to that central authority, even as Paul himself once did (Galatians 1:14 and Acts 22:3). Paul's message was to the "Lost Sheep of the House of Israel" (Acts 9:15) and he vigorously taught all Israel (and any Gentiles entering into the faith of all Israel) that they were obligated to obey YHWH by walking in the Ruach (Spirit) of YHWH and embracing its written Instructions from the Spirit, which is the animating force and power as taught in Proverbs 6:20. Paul took a strict Letter and Spirit of the written Law position in his life and teachings and was persecuted by the Jewish religious zealots of his day, who were strict adherents to the attitude that prevailed in the leadership of ancient Israel as referenced in Exodus 20:19 and Deuteronomy 5:22-27). It could be said that Paul was a "proto-Karaite" of his day. Paul, like Yeshua, relentlessly taught against the "Mitzvot D'Rabbanan" - the commandments of the rabbis (men). Paul taught his Gentile converts to walk in the Spirit (Ruach) of YHWH by listening to and obeying the Word - the Written Law through the Spirit; and shun all rabbinic innovations to the Law, which he understood, clouds all divine guidance. Paul's concepts were in perfect harmony with Yeshua's teachings concerning the Law of Moses and the Prophets, but because of large misunderstandings by those who never really understood the mind of Paul, a huge gap of misunderstanding developed.
